granato would not get much playing time at oregon, if any. Granato would be opposite LVW and only play in the front row. Van Sickle would sub her out. BIK, I will give you Granato, you seem to know more about Oregon then I do.

The only worry I have next year is who is going to replace Akiu. She will be missed. Wish she had one more year.

Granato is a better attacker than Van Sickle or Page. not last night she wasn’t.. IMO they produce vs the top competition night in night out and sometimes Granato is inconsistent vs Big West competition. I’m just being fair, I do think that when Granato is on she is just as good maybe better but the other two are much more consistent. It’s back to back games we haven’t had double digit kills from her that’s not like her and I hope it’s not her shoulder bothering her cuz if she can’t be at her top level then it will be a long season. Granato would be a better player with teammates like Stone and LVW. She would not have to be the “go to player” there and her game would settle. She wouldn’t even have to play backrow as the Ducks could bring in Van Sickle for defense and attacking from the backcourt. I trust that her game would be better.

I just want to see something tonight that will give me confidence that Na Wahine will have what it takes to beat Cal Poly and the rest of the BW twice and win the conference.

I think they have what it takes for running everyone but I see split with CP. One of the possible trouble teams will be Long Beach they looked much better vs UCLA Just watch LBSU defeat Lamar, 3-1, they did not look that good in defeating Lamar. A lot of weaknesses that the Wahine can exploit.

Both Robyn and Angelica played in the Alumnae match, their team won the match. Two of the best setters in Wahine history played against each other.

The one thing Hawai'i needs to watch out for is LVW's pipe attack. Always have to get at least 2 blockers up on her.
