Uh.... am I the only one thinking "someone is transferring" first when reading Koa's message? We already had two scholarships left for 2019, that was obvious. So either Koa is hinting that one of the recruits Hawaii was hoping for didn't pan out or someone is deciding on transferring or medically retiring after this season? Plus, doesn't seem like an excited post with a ".." at the end lol. Must be nice to be in the know.... What? We lose Sibley, Choy and Iosia. 3 Schollies. We gain lang. 2 now available. Right, but wasn't it obvious we would have had two available since Lang was committed for quite some time? If koa felt the need to acknowledge we're down to two open scholarships when it was already obvious we had two, my initial thought as someone didn't pan out that had committed that we didn't know of. but yeah, maybe the transfer/medical retiring is me being chicken little lol.

There is no one transferring out. Robyn will have 2 available scholarships remaining for 2020. Like I mentioned earlier, do not believe we will find out who will fill those 2 scholarships until sometime in the Spring of 2020.

They have that fearlessness Coach Rob wants. High Skill, Incredible VB IQ, and HEART.

People do not panic, have faith in Robyn and her staff on who they get to fill those 2 available scholarships. Those 9 new Wahine players that Robyn and her staff brought in to fill out the Wahine team should give people enough faith in them to do what is best for the Wahine team. Robyn and her staff will just not bring in anyone just to fill out the roster. They will bring in players that can contribute to the team, I am confident of that.

Why do people say this so many times on multiple threads? Incredible! Heck, my heart rate is, like, roughly 60-65 beats per minute almost all of the time, at rest.

If that monster foreign hitter didn't work out then at least there's a scholie left for a monster transfer hitter. When Jolie comes back and the Wahine progress to the Elite 8 then an elite transfer may be more likely for 2020.
Transfer hitter wish list:
Polina Shemanova Zoe McBride Anett Nemeth Jamie Peterson McKenna Melville Efrosini Alexakou Cecilee Max Browne Adanna Rollins Brooke Nuneviller Keeley Davis

Most of these names are “established “ players and are very unlikely to leave. I think we need to hope for former HS hotshots that are warming bench at their schools and would welcome a chance to come here and play more.
Someone like Alexis Light from UCLA or Brooklyn Schirmer from USC or those kind. That was what JR and BVS were at UO. Kids who are looking for more PT and probably won’t get much due to another top notch recruiting class at their schools.
Schirmer has some ties to the is;and. She is the cousin of former Mililani RB Vavae Malepeiai. She is related to the Toeainas. She is from Redondo Union (Norene’s HS) and is part Samoan. She would be a perfect fit here with all the past Samoan players we have had. Iosia.....Uiato....Tuaniga...etc.

Not sure if the Oregon trio get along with Nuneviller, but if Nuneviller is unhappy with Ulmer then Hawaii can try calling. Alexakou is the 6'1" OH from St John's. She is a baller but I don't see her leaving because St John's has another Greek girl. I can see Adanna Rollins coming to Hawaii, Minnesota has too many weapons arriving next year and she loved Hawaii during a visit Cecilee Max Browne (Who's had double digit kills in Pac-12 action) is connected to Westerberg.

Also, setter Bryanne Soares named 2nd Team UA All-American. She's verbaled to another school but Robyn needs to get in touch before the signing period. Not too impressed with Soares' hands but maybe she's a raw talent? Soares got 60 assists on 2 occasions

Not sure if the same coaching staff is still there but I read that Tiff did verbal there and then backed out or her offer was pulled.
