It's snowing in Lincoln and they are expecting 4-8 inches during the next 24 hours.

I think Husker is saying that being in Long Beach for the finals is looking much better than being in Nebraska (with the snow and cold weather) at that time.
I feel the same, but probably won't be making the trip unless the Gophers make it to the final four again this year since I've got several days planned in Orlando planned for Christmas / New Year / Anniversary.
At least if the Gophers win the championship if someone asks me what I'm going to do next I can say "I'm going to Disney World!"
;D

Actually, SoCal is remarkably chilly right now. Daytime temperatures in the 50s and low 60s. Nighttime dipping into the 40s.
I finally had to haul out my big winter jacket.

Some of us wouldn't mind a night time low of 38 this time of year. Especially if it was warmer and sunny during the day.

Do you mean for 1st-2nd rounds? I mean IF we make it to the Finals, and SINCE our football team sucks and will not be going to a bowl game for the first time in a gazillion years, Long Beach State is probably looking very good to a WHOLE lot of Husker fans that might not have come otherwise.

Last night it rained, off an on all night. Today the sky is blue, visibility is about 50 miles, clear as the proverbial bell, and georgeous.....we just hope that this is the kind of weather we get in two weeks, but just a little warmer!
