KRob can replace Larson, she just needs some space to breathe.

Have you even ever played beach? Passing in beach is completely different and for most people, a much easier ball to pass. KP is elite whichever direction she chooses to go. Also to say she's too slow footed for beach, doesn't take in account the results she already has accomplished in beach. What happened to ballislife hashtag infinity? Played beach probably longer than you been alive. USA also won 14 WCH but here we are, appeal to weak achievements doesn't fool anyone except ironhammer. Even Kro gave up the Murphyism. The Plummerism will continue for awhile I know, I too was excited about Lowe when everyone said I was nuts she should be our B opp which she still is. We just need to find our A opp now. Still here, I just came to the realization that you’re one of the many Plummer haters that don’t have the ability to comprehend that a woman with her combination of size and gifts is found once a generation. And you a WC on the beach!? I’m pretty sure in your “prime” she’d put you in your place by bouncing a few off your head and maybe just maybe rearrange whatever is wrong up there for you. Continue with whatever idiotic views you hold. It doesn’t seem to impact her ability to dominate opponents, especially as of late.

I think that Lexi Sun could develop into a promising USA NT OH. She's quick, has improved tremendously in the back-row in half of a season at Nebraska (imagine where could be in two more years) and is terminal.

KRob can replace Larson, she just needs some space to breathe. KRob could be a really good L2, but I don't think she'll ever be as terminal as Larson. Considering how many balls our OHs get in Karch's system, that would be a problem for us. Any other system with a terminal OH1 and OPP where her main responsibility is ball control and providing enough offense? Sold. I'd still like to see Courtney get some reps at OH. It's so funny that USA is so worried about passing, and we put our two best passing OHs in the pipeline at 'bro.

I'm partial to Larson at libero.

If Larson moved to libero, we would be the best in the world at that position (sorry, DR).

I honestly don't remember because we see it so rarely, if we set Murphy/Lowe/Drews 3rd tempo balls how well do they terminate off high balls?

However, I don’t think she plays well in clutch/high-pressure situations (especially her passing). Not sure if that can be fixed easily. This is based off of my observations of her with Coast, USA, and Texas. However, her bad play against top opponents or in tough situations could be attributed to lack of confidence after shanking passes so perhaps she will become more confident as her passing continues to improve

. Thought we were talking about 2018 rosters, not 2016. My bad.

She has simply been given a chance to sink or swim, unlike at TX where she had a much shorter leash. If Eric Sullivan can't improve your passing and defense, Banwarth ain't going to do it. You also don't see things as fundamental as passing improve, PARTICULARLY OVER A SEVERAL MONTH TIMEFRAME WHEN THE PLAYER WASN'T PLAYING BECAUSE OF A BACK INJURY. WTF?!?!?! Texas recruits high-flying bombers and hopes walk ons and a scholarshipped libero can pass well enough to make up for the passing deficits elsewhere.

Cincinnati’s Jordan Thompson could be physical enough to do it. Has she been in the Team USA gym at all?

I also think you're contradicting yourself. Was she given enough chances at Texas for us to know if she's improved, or not? It sounds like you haven't watched Nebraska play this year - because most would agree her backrow defense has been surprisingly good. If she hasn't improved or Texas was stupid and didn't let her play is honestly irrelevant - she's showing promise for only playing a few months in 6-rotations full-time.

Your statement was she was greatly improved. I disagree that has happened. I believe it's ridiculous to believe she's greatly improved when she hasn't had a chance to play until recently due to her back and even sillier to attribute it to anything happening at Nebraska that didn't happen at TX. Truth be told, I never thought she was that bad to begin with, but NE fans seemed to believe based on early results and even recent results, she was the second coming of Logan Tom in the back row.

I haven’t seen the extra gear from her like Foecke or other great players seem to have. Maybe later.
