Nebraska, Ohio State, Hawai'i, and Texas Hawaii and Texas are in the same region. Both can't advance. You're missing someone from the Washington region.

I'll be delighted if we pull off an "UPSET" and beat Florida A@M.
However, mary has already blown this year----
To have this caliber of talent and not be a top 10 team is a shame.

I'm worried about the possible Nebraska vs USC regional final but I have to pick my Huskers.
Nebraska, Penn St, Tenn(surprise), Texas.
Penn State over Nebraska in 4.
(I know we have the talent but I think we are too young to play that many good matches in a row). Hope I'm wrong.

Gotta give props to my alma mater - Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!! Although, when you go to American, loyalty doesn't pay. At least not in volleyball ... (or any other sport for that matter ... ) Go AU!!

I think the two teams who are most likely to get to the FInal 4 are Minnesota and Stanford. Minnesota has the best situation out of all the top 8 teams. People are complaing about them having to travel first two rounds, please. They could literally send their second team and advance to Minneapolis. Stanford is simply the best team in their regional, and they are hot right now. You would think the #1 , 2 and 3 seeds would be the most likely. I think USC might be the toughest match-up for Nebraska out there. First of all, they are physical enough to match-up. Secondly, the Huskers struggle against teams with experienced volleyball players who can adjust and create kills vs a good block. Let's not forget there are 3-4 players on that team who have won back to back championships, and have played in about 15 NCAA tournament matches (and won) Penn State and Washington will be a battle, too hard to predict. I think that USC-Nebraska regional final is one for the ages, these are two big time heavyweights. Either Penn State or Nebraska will not advance, I just can't say which.

I don't recall anyone complaining about Minnesota being sent on the road--except for the lost attendance.
I have a feeling USC will take down Nebraska, even though I think Nebraska is the best team in the country right now. I just think USC's size matches up real well with the Huskers and that neither plays that great of floor defense. So it'll come down to a slugfest and I think experience will win out.
The problem I have with that pick is that it leaves me with no team I feel comfortable with to win it all. I, of course, would love to see Minnesota do it, but I'm not even sure they get past UCSB and/or OSU--especially OSU.
I can't pick Penn State or Ohio State, even though I'd love to see a Big10 team win it all. I just can't. So that leaves me with U Dub, by default.
This is wide open. No doubt about it. And if Nebraska goes down, it's even more wide open.
