I know, I know, this is early but.... I hope there will be upsets all over but here's my predictions for the Final Four based on the brackets: Nebraska, Washington, Stanford and Minnesota

I think Nebraska is in for sure, as is Minnesota. Penn State will go down to either UCLA or Washington, although Cal could pull the upset on Washington, especially if the Huskies continue their slide, imho. But Penn State still loses in the Sweet Sixteen or Elite Eight.
The winner of the other regional will be either Stanford or Florida. However wins that second-round match-up I feel will go to Long Beach.

Nebraska: Really, the toughest match is going to be against USC. As long as the Huskers don't look too forward and get upset by Missouri, they will advance out of that region.
Minnesota: Hosting is a huge advantage. Probably one of the only teams that will be able to "out back row" UCSB. They beat Ohio State in Minnesota, so they should advance.
Texas. Stanford will advance to the region, but it wont be easy. Middles are not experienced enough to stop Topic who will go off and get them to the semis. No clue about the other side. I can see Hawaii, CSU, and Wisconsin making it out of that side, but all can't beat Texas.
Washington. Hosting helps a lot. Minor slips in the last few matches, but with Tomasevic back, they will advance easily.

You assume Florida beats FAMU. I predict Florida goes down in 4, pretty easily. This team has no confidence, no fire, no leadership. They almost lost to Towson, for crying out loud. Florida will not see the 2nd round and then we can officially dub this worst season of Mary Wise's Florida tenure.
My final 4: Nebraska, Stanford, Ohio State(I really want to pick the Gophers, but think Gordon leads the Buckeyes) and my darkhorse, St. Mary's.

And that will secure Ogonna's POY award...

Interesting. A large number of posters seem to think Stanford should come out of that region. I definitely think it might happen, but they could have a let down some point soon.

Florida has the talent to reach the Final Four, they're one of the more talented teams in the country, even without McCrady. Like Gator said though, they have no passion and no leadership, and don't be surprised if FAMU upsets them in the first round. IF, big if, Florida gets on a run and starts playing like the team we all know they can watch out, but since they haven't done it all season long, I doubt that will change in the tournament.

This will not be an easy Reginal by any means. There is a VERY tough Texas team waiting in the wings. Remember Texas absolutely clobbered Florida in Gainsville.

I don't know about that though... I think Nnamani is a much better attacker than Topic and I think Nnamani will go off on the Texas offense. I think IF Stanford advances to play Flordia, the key will be Kristin Richards and Jen Hucke. Those two need to hit above .200 to help out Nnamani. Any offense that Franic Girard brings will also help. I also think it might be a setter's duel between Moriarty and Kehoe to see who can set the hothand and be deceptive all night long. If Stanford loses to Florida, I like Florida over Texas. YOU are a dreamer!
