Does anyone know what the ‘25 recruits are ranked nationally? I don’t have any subscriptions, so I can’t see them. Pretty sure the class was top 10 overall, despite no individuals being top 20. Sorry that's not very specific, hopefully someone can fill in details. It’s always interesting how the “rankings” fluctuate over the year. My guess is Minn’s overall class rankings will trend upward. Have seen quite a few of the 2025 class in both club and HS. They are the real deal Kinney has a real high ceiling for sure.

She's the one I know the least about.

Kinney is obviously extremely talented and could potentially jump into a 6 rotation starter position her freshman year. But yes, I also don’t know much about Taylor. She’s got the height I know that lol ETA: 2025 and on are going to be fun to watch — given there are no crazy changes to the coaching staff and roster. Still crossing my fingers for another middle to be added to 2025.

IMO her blocking is fantastic and she has a ton of upside on the offensive side with a high ceiling. She will benefit immensely working with Pedro once she gets on campus and has had great training with the NTDP program as well.

I was just thinking that Taylor might be the most excited to hear the news of Pedro joining the coaching staff. What he was able to do with Booth and other MBs in the past 2 years at the NCAA level was impressive!

Literally took the words right out of my mouth lol She physically reminds me a lot of Booth and we all saw what Pedro was able to do with that! @sayonaratachikara offensively, do you think she's better in front or behind the setter? I know it also depends on the setter but just curious what your thoughts are from watching her.

Another thought is that the addition of Pedro to the coaching staff will make it even more likely for Elena Hoecke '26 MB to commit to MN in a couple of months.

If I am being honest, she at the time, seemed slow. She played both in front of the setter and did go off one foot behind the setter, but at the time seemed forced and not fluid. It was obviously something they were developing. She was much more efficient and effective in front. In volleyball terms 2022 was an eternity ago, and I am sure she has developed her foot work and speed immensely since then.

She has "it."

I was thinking more individual rankings - I know the class is top 5 overall, or at least were the last time I saw. I thought Kinney was top 10. I have an inkling that Carly Gilk has moved up in the ranking so I was curious about that! Kinney: PrepDig: 21st PrepVB: 14th (she was top 10 (9) as you mentioned, but moved down in their last month's update) Taylor: PrepDig: 58th PrepVB: 30th Gilk: PrepDig: 73rd PrepVB: 105th
