I made it down to Mpls today, since I was going to work downtown for a bit anyway. Saw Garr first. She was really solid. I think I could argue she made one non-positive touch (on a tough play) on about a couple dozen touches. Didn't see as much of Taylor. Like most that height and age, I think there's a lot of potential if lateral quickness and vertical explosion improves, which I'm sure it will by the time she suits up as a Gopher. Gilk was really good, really strong athlete, a very nice range of shots. Only one minor critique if I had to make one was a few stutter steps on approach (but that was rare). Like a dummy I didn't research who else I might see - walked by Milwaukee Sting and realized the very impressive Quest was the Badger recruit that MN will have to deal with. Miranda W. was watching Sting (and Garr came by later). I may go tomorrow, not sure.

Tribe vs KIVA from the MLK tourney - Kinney is #11 in navy on the far side. Sets 1 and 3 are separate videos Charlotte Glass the setter for tribe is such a fun setter to watch. What a great pick up for Duke The parent commentary always kills me on these videos 😂

I do like Glass, but one of her biggest knocks last year coming off the club season was her inconsistent location.

I didn’t watch her much last year but you’re right, she has her moments, especially trapping hitters inside. And to be fair, the passing in this match in particular was pretty rough but she was able to better the ball pretty well. I’m not familiar with Duke’s coaching staff but she’s got a great foundation to develop off of, will be interesting to see what they do with her and Zoe Gillen-Malveoux

I think she could play 6 rotations in college at some point. Glad Gilk is a Gopher!

I saw 6'5 somewhere, seemed legit. She seems almost Booth-esque height.

I was able to step over on a few occasions and watch Jordan and she looks considerably more developed compared to last club season. She closes some huge seams with her length. Shows a great serve at times too. Both of the Houston-based teams in 17 Open looked like well oiled machines from what I saw. Courts 20-24 were buzzing with onlookers this weekend.

Well, I'm glad all you Gopher fans were there to tell those other coaches to just move along; Jordan is spoken for!
