They shafted Nebraska and Colorado State last year and made up for it this year. They are shafting Hawaii this year, and next year will remember the flood of bitchy emails from this year, and do it again just to show that you don't mess with the NCAA. I don't see how this would be any sort of make up for CSU. They didn't get a top 16 seed, maybe fairly since they were 20 in the RPI, but ULCA, who was 32 in the RPI was seeded 16, and to make matters worse, Utah who CSU beat twice in November, got put in the UCLA subregional. CSU did get to host, but they also got a very tough road to the 16. Luckily for the MWC, Utah got a good draw, and could potentially move on the 16. B

I haven't seen Hawaii play so I am only going by how they have played other teams and that wasn't impressive to me. I have seen CSU play and I was impressed. CSU has had their ups and downs and so has Hawaii so it will certainly depend on which team comes to play but I don't think Hawaiil will survive the second round.

CSU at Fort Collins is a tough second round match for anybody. Penn State would surely lose that match. The commitee is trying their best to make a Final Four with NO Cali/Hawaii teams in Long Beach.

Hmmm.. Minnesota defeated CSU in 4 games at CSU and Penn State split matches with Minnesota. I wouldn't be so sure Penn State would lose against CSU.

Strange, I haven't seen CSU play so I am only going by how they have played other teams ... I look forward to watching this VB Playoff match on TV ... fighting words to see how good the VB teams are or the NCAA seedings are too!
