Wow, never thought that I'd see so many Hawaii fans supporting Florida's gripe and vice-versa.
Anyone see this one coming? Has to rank right up there with the other unexpected happenings this year...

Hey, we got Stanford fans joining us as well.
More than just a fan of one school, I'm a fan of the sport and what has happened this year is not good for the sport. When 3 of the biggest names in women's college volleyball get screwed, it's a big deal and I can't believe the idiots on the committee could do such a thing. There is no reason why those 3, among others, got screwed so bad. I want the committee members to explain to me exactly WTF they were thinking when they decided to screw these 3. All 3 earned the right to host and while Stanford's arena wasn't available, they still shouldn't have been shipped across the country. Hawaii getting sent to play 2 Colorado schools, having to fly all that way, is just as bad. And while Florida is close to home, not being seeded or hosting is just wrong.

Well when both teams have legitimate gripes and are put in similar positions it's hard not to unite. There's no denying that Florida got royally screwed as well. Having to face off against FAMU on its homecourt and then possibly meet Stanford in the second round is absolutley heinous. Especially when other teams that are less deserving like say Missouri, gets a top 16 seed after getting waxed by a team like Creighton earlier in the season is an absolute joke. Let there be no mistake that the undeserving Tigers had a committee member batting for them, outrageous! They should be embarrassed as should Wisconsin. I wouldn't want something I didn't earn. Florida not getting a seed is a blow to the validity of the selection process. I said what I wanted to say concerning Hawai'i. Their draw is another joke. If I wasn't so irritated by it all I'd be laughing at how ludicrous it is.

I am not changing my stance with Florida fans, but I would be a bad person if I were to pick on what had happened with them as well as Hawaii. I am not one, that I know of.
Florida, Florida A&M, and Stanford got the royal Ben Dover treatment just as Hawaii and about 18 other schools did.
For once, though, I do appreciate Mary Wise's rantings. I am guessing that there is a tear in the space-time continuum and that world will end at any moment, now.

Maybe if both teams advance to the regional final, things will go back to normal ;D

Funny, I was thinking if they both are out after round 1... I think this board will implode if both teams go out in the 1st round.
