Say Pablo is right. Oh my! How in the world did they fool everyone! ;D The allure of a sub-tropical paradise.

She doesn't. Very good player. If Ringel from UCLA is on and if Heather plays they can beat Washington.. I think Brynn Murphy doen't get enough credit..

As much as I hate to say it, I think he has the Washington match well predicted. UCLA will lose to Washington as they did last weekend. Unless Andy comes up with a miracle or Thompson gets injured (which I hope does not happen because she is a joy to watch--what a setter. And how about that freshman Morrison--wow she is great). Washington is just a better team--but UCLA can beat the others if they can figure out that 5th game curse. Good job on the odds. Even if they can figure out the 5th game curse, I am not sure they can get past Penn State, the number 2 seed. They will have to do so before meeting Washington. Assuming that they will beat LMU, both UTAH and Long Beach are difficult opponent. Crimes has been hitting well recently and UTah did beat the Bruins this year

I think Heather Cullen is clear to play but she has lost her starting position. Barba has earned the second middle blocker spot and Murphy was moved to opposite with Lyman playing for her in the back row. I do not think that Bananchowski will change the lineup again at this point.

Is Pablo like rich and kern Nope. I just publish the Pablo Rankings. I don't generate them. However, if you take the time to read the FAQ on my site, you learn more about it's strengths and limitations. Overall, it is about 83% accurate. That is pretty good and the best that is available. Just because someone doesn't like the results, does not mean it is not good but note that it is also about 17% inaccurate so it is not perfect.

Who the hell is Pablo, please give me a break... what bullcrap... Pablo posts as "Agent Buchwald" on this board. Try sending him an IM, and you'll get Pablo as the original user name, but "Agent Buchwald" as the displayed handle. He's got a predictive ranking algorithm based on wins/losses, # of games, and margin of victory/losses. It's not perfect, but it seems to be one of the better rankings for volleyball right now.

What would be interesting if AB had the time to do it, is to look at what the probability would be for Hawaii if the committee had them seeded #1 and shipped over to Hawaii the same 3 teams that are going to Lincoln. Then look at Nebraska having to travel to CSU and play the teams in Hawaii's bracket. I think we'd fine the while this would improve the chances for Hawaii and hurt the chances for Nebraska, most of the differences in these teams probability for reaching the final four (per Pablo) are as a result of their ranking and not as a result of seeding.

OK--something simple-- If UCLA gets by Penn state--using Pablo's rankings--they will get by Washington State and then win it all. Say it ain't so. I'll have to cancel my Christmas Party for the game. LOL
