Off the top of my head PSU should be a slight favorite over ISU on the road, a solid favorite over LSU at a neutral site, a solid underdog to Stanford @ home, a toss-up vs Oregon @ home, a toss-up vs Pitt @ home, and a slight underdog to Pitt on the road. IMO if they get through these six games with a 4-2 record, they should be happy, and anything better is gravy. I'd agree with everything you said except for a solid favorite over LSU. LSU's results last year were erratic but this is a far more talented team than the LSU's of the past. Add in Anwusi who will probably be fresh off a big international tournament, and Morris, and you include some solid athletes to an already physical frontline which includes one of the top opposites in the country (Bannister) and a top 10 senior aces (Foreman). LSU is NOT to be overlooked. You are starting to convince me that LSU might be a problem for the Kitty Lions. LSU is young and talented, but some of these freshman are more experienced than your average freshman starters, which means they may not feel intimidated by Penn State's legacy. Add to that the fact that RR will be trying to figure out what he's got exactly, and we just might the recipe for a disaster an upset (if you call it that).

Please stop making me want to jump off a cliff nearly 3 months before the season starts.

Those last 6 games in the preseason are not to be taken lightly. Given PSU’s turnover, I could see all those teams either being out right favored (Stanford) or within the margin of a toss up. Agree. This is one tough schedule beginning to end . Looks like the easiest schedule in BIG Minnesota AND Nebraska one time

The last time the two teams played was certainly memorable! www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=575722

Personally, and this doesn't work as of right now, but I'd want to see if Bailey ends up being a sleeper hit. She plays like a natural full 6-ro OH. I'm surprised Parker's moved to left. Was the current OH situation so dire they needed her there? Or is she more of a simulator for The Terminal OH of another team?

I can see it from a playing time perspective and she could certainly be a great player there, but with the 2017 class being seniors in 2020 and the recruits at UCLA not really panning out too well??
