If it's UCLA, maybe it's one of those instances where a player just really likes the school. I'd imagine that any '20+ recruit at UCLA has to consider they may experience a coaching change as well. perhaps the same for Penn State. Isn't Rose's contract up in 2020? Re UCLA staff...I wonder what Karch will be doing after this Olympic cycle. I think they'll have to cart Russ off the court. I'd be surprised if he walks away voluntarily. Karch would make sense for UCLA, but isn't he almost 60? I know I'm making the case for Russ coaching indefinitely, but would UCLA hire someone who might only coach 10 years under great circumstances? |

Anyone have a hotel recommendation for the 9/13-9/15 tournament at Penn State? It appears there's a football game that same weekend so prices are outrageous.

I know it’s never going to happen but imagine if White took 2019 off. The 2020 team would be sick and Stanford will be down. I am hoping PSU can get back to the final 4 next year and win it all within the next few years. I think the pins coming in for Penn State are nowhere near the talent level Penn State has had over the last decade. And isn’t Russ Rose out after 2020? PSU will be good for sure, but I’m just not sure this is the feared team of years past. That is a question, not a statement. |

I know you said “hotel recommendations” but have you considered either boondocking or camping? Cheap if there’s a campsite and if you’re hardy enough to go this route. |
