As someone who's only seen about 6 matches of PSU this season, I have no idea how Russ can keep Parker out of a hitting position next season. She will easily be the most terminal option they have at any pin.

Thoughts on Lauren Clark’s performance during the all American game? Personally, I was hoping she’d be more of a standout. Regardless, it was just one game. Excited to see what’s in store for her.

Russ better be going after Jolie Rasmussen HARD. Aside from Parker, they don't look too strong on the pins for next year. And for the record, I still think they should move Gray to the left. She could be a Simone Lee 2.0.

NYline strikes again This! ******** There are numerous athletes/coaches (m/w) that I have come across over the years who I can think about this way. I'm sure many VTers have a few too for their respective schools that they could name. So glad to see this type of student/athlete still being churned out (and recognized too for these traits) Each of you should ask yourself: when you were 18, would you be able to say what that kid said in that setting after that kind of a crushing defeat?
For me, Jonni Parker is just so driven, and so smart, and so thoughtful about what she wants to do with her career. Jonni Parker gets it. And she is a huge, huge get for Penn State University — not just as an athlete, but because of her potential to have a real impact 10 years from now and beyond. She’s the kind of kid that makes me proud to be a Penn State Nittany Lion.

It confounds me to no end that tOSU didn't offer her a full four year scholarship (it was that, right?).

Solid all around skills IMO. She should be able to play 6 rotations. Not real tall and will have to crafty to defeat B1G blocks on the attack. Probably biggest weakness is her blocking.

Carlston NEVER offered Parker 4 years!!! NEVER is a pretty strong word. Are you saying she lied about that happening?
