You know who was great recruiter, Kaleena Davidson. Think she would ever come back?

Has a player ever taken a red shirt just to stack the team the following year? I know it’s never going to happen but imagine if White took 2019 off. The 2020 team would be sick and Stanford will be down. I am hoping PSU can get back to the final 4 next year and win it all within the next few years.

They're set for the next four years at least. Also, this kind of idea doesn't always pan out. See Nebraska 2007.

No hawaii needs her: thanks Not sure Hawaii is a destination for top 50 recruits anymore, other than vacation. That ship has sailed. Lol.

My intel says they are 1st in line for the top 2 California recruits for 2021, but 2020 may be a bust for the Card, and that’s the first year without the Fab Four. Baird and Kipp are strong pins, but I’m curious what the OH depth looks like for 2020 and 2021.

I think the pins coming in for Penn State are nowhere near the talent level Penn State has had over the last decade. And isn’t Russ Rose out after 2020? PSU will be good for sure, but I’m just not sure this is the feared team of years past.

Though Stanford has been light on the pins for a couple years now, wouldn’t you say? Berty is a nice player to have as a third OH moving forward.

He has made no indication he plans to retire anytime soon. Are you trying to start a rumor? It certainly seems so.

volleyballmag.com/2018-all-freshman-team/Penn State’s Jonni Parker tops VolleyballMag.com All-Freshman team By Lee Feinswog - December 27, 20180 You could argue that from top to bottom, this is as strong of a freshman class that has ever entered NCAA Division I women’s volleyball. The players coming into the college game are ready to not only play, but compete at the highest level. To wit, a freshman, Nicklin Hames, set Nebraska into the NCAA championship match. Another freshman, Holly Campbell, cracked the Stanford lineup and was a key factor as the Cardinal won it all. But no freshman was more valuable to her respective team this season Penn State’s Jonni Parker, who also appears on the VolleyballMag.com fourth All-American team. The 6-foot-1 right side is our national freshman of the year and highlights our first all-freshman team. We’ve also added a second all-freshman team — which includes Parker’s Penn State teammates Serena Gray and Kaitlyn Hord — and the way things are going in NCAA volleyball, don’t be surprised if we add a third team in the future, the talent level is so deep.

This team is going to finish higher than the Huskers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finish 1st or 2nd in the B1G next season. And don’t even tell me they’re losing Weiskercher or their OHs.. I think Rose will always find a way.

Baird and Kipp are strong pins, but I’m curious what the OH depth looks like for 2020 and 2021. Stanford should be better in 2019 if they can figure out how best to shuffle the deck. Kipp is the main reason for my prediction because she is that good. 2020 Stanford takes a significant hit because those recruited to take the place of the 2016 class as a whole are not as talented. Don't get me wrong, Stanford will be good, with perhaps the ability to win the Pac-12, but it is much more of an open question relative to the quality of other teams in the Pac-12.

Did ay2013 ever say where he got the 2020 retirement date? Or did he just make that up?
