Re Greer, she just really must love being a gator. I'm sure she could get some solid looks from home state Texas teams looking for a bigger OH to insert into the starting lineup. She was a girl getting long looks at the highest level USAV HP teams in her prep days.

What about Hall, Hammons or Ceasar on the right side? I think Hammons will probably stay a 6 rotation LS since her ball control is so good. Having that all the way around will really help the setters get their middles going.

I guess if Wise runs a 6-2, she'd need another pin so any of the above 2 could work, but I don't Holly Carlton losing that spot in a 5-1.

well, playing time for who you WANT to see on the floor notwithstanding, if she helps Florida win more, then it's a good thing, right? That was not my point. Winning at all costs is not always a good thing. Just saying

Winning at all costs is not always a good thing. Just saying Bringing in better players if a scholarship is available doesn’t seem like winning at all costs. They didn’t recruit anyone in the 2019 class right? And they graduated a scholarshiped setter? seems all above board from the outsider perspective. What’s the issue?

If there are concerns about sample size, it should really be on the one outlier performance against FSU. The 2017 stats don't tell a different story either. Anyways, my whole point here is that there is a bizarre disregard among Gator fans of the need for another OH who can score points against top teams. There's also a lot of sniping at Caesar in this thread among people defending their favorites. There's a reason Mary brought in this transfer... just sayin' If Florida can clean up its setting next year, I think there's value in playing Hammons 6-rotations. If not, maybe they need a banger like Caesar who can deal with crappy sets. So why don't you coach Florida then?

Wow. Looking at that pic I think eve gone has the oppurtunity to contribute besides Martin. Hargreaves only ever as a server. But other than those two I think everyone is a capable of playing and being a positive asset in the court.

Does anyone know when Mary Wise and her coaching staff start looking at athletes? What age?

Does anyone know when Mary Wise and her coaching staff start looking at athletes? What age? Boos is assigned to 14s courts. (So If an 8th grader is playing up, then 13) Unless they come to camp and get noticed earlier.
