I don't think many fans expect them to get to the Final Four. Everything from now is just extra for this team. NEXT YEAR and the year after... that's a different story.

I've seen them play on the road. If they play like they did in beating San Jose State in 4, I could easily see them making an early exit. That being said, that was the only time I saw them play this season, and it could have easily been an off night.

[quote author=BearClause link=board=general&thread=1101918217&start=4#0 date=1101922371]I've seen them play on the road. The thing is, though, that if they continue to "play like they did" against everyone they've played this year so far, they could also just win it all. After all, they haven't been beaten yet, and haven't played particularly well in some matches. The point I'm making is that no one here really knows how far this team can go because they have responded to all challenges so far this year. Who's to say that they cannot respond and take their game to a higher level as the competition increases? Dumb question. Answer: all non-Wahine fans who insist on trying to poke holes in Hawaii's season. They can't stand the fact that Hawaii is the only team to have finished the regular season undefeated so they have to look for weaknesses.
I guess that's the burden of being up there, though. I recall that in August, whenever I tried to comment about the Wahine on this board, there was little, if any, response. All everyone wanted to talk about was the USC juggernaut, Minnesota's chances and how good Nebraska was expected to be. Sorry the Wahine spoiled that line of discussion for all of you non-Wahine fans.

How can Hawaii be rated number one with all these negative comments from their fans like:
There fans don't expect them to make it to the final four or it is not this year it is next year or the next, etc.
I starting to think that Hawaii was rated #3 to protect them from an early tournament exit and allow them to have the easiest path possible to the final four.
Politics is strange isn't it.

Which is a good site I should add. I don't think your posts will get too may people riled up here. Many of us, myself included, are bigger asses than you. ;D

Your the second person to say that.
Clue told me that too.
If I had the moniker I wouldn't use it, I am not the best -I am Magnificent.
With a vertical 40" - you have to be.

Ridiculous Everyone knows that Purdue will beat Nebraska in the Final Four!!!! Seriousy though, Purdue doesn't have a bad draw either considering that some people wondered if they would make the tournament. Purdue should do well against CSU and once any good team gets a foothold, there is no telling what they can do in the tourney.

So why'd you start this thread? To see what kind of response you'd get. Oh well. Texas is a formidable opponent.
