Some final stats to come.
19, 12, 27
Dave Boos:
Low errors games 1 and 2. Lost focus and made more errors in game 3.
Yale-Albany. Scrappy teams. [That's scrappy, with an "s".] Must keep focus.
Minnesota experience made the difference. Biggest difference was from service line, made LI uncomfortable.
Make the opponent hit at Paula. Block funnels the attacks there and she delivers all the time.

Overall win #800 for Dr. Mike. I thought I heard Steve mention that Jessy Jones had been subbed into game 2 but she's not listed in the box score. Only 380 fans in attendance. I hope Tree's knee (or whatever) is okay after whatever happened in game 1 when they stopped the action to check on her after she landed awkwardly.

Only 380 fans in attendance. Not sure why they'd have attendance for the first match of the two match session. Also, I doubt Minnesota would have had many more than 380 for Yale-Albany.

We'd probably have somewhat more than that, but you're right about first matches without the home team being significantly lower attendance than the late match in general.

That was an early season match, we didn't have attendance for any of the Gopher matches back then like we've been having in conference matches and especially since the Illinois match.

Gee, too bad Minnesota had such a tough time with Long Island tonight. Tough bracket! ;D
That was for all you Minnesota fans. ;D
As for the team -- good win. As I've heard our coach say on many an occasion, the name of the game in post-season is to take care of business as quickly as you can to conserve energy for the upcoming matches. Looks like Minnesota did just that!
