This entire process has made me throw some measure of logic and reason out the window. My niece had her list of schools ranging from "I've got a scholarship waiting" to "In my wildest dreams", and the middle of the road schools are the ones failing to deliver. She's actually communicating more with coaches at schools that she thought were way out of her league. Maybe this is all part of recruiting, but it's definitely making it more difficult for her to adhere to her goals. She's really the 1st athlete in my family so I'm not sure if it's always like this, but it really kinda sucks, lol. Having recently gone through the process I can attest that there are many hills and valleys along the way. Schools that we thought were about to be a lock dropped off and others unexpectedly popped up out of nowhere. It’s great to have a framework to refer to but flexibility is also important. In the end it comes down to finding that fit and your niece will know when she finds it. Good luck and all the best to her!

Kenna Wollard -- she will be a big star! I was wondering if you could tell me which colleges were trying to recruit her? I tried looking it up and couldn’t find it. I’m excited that she committed to Purdue. Lucky to have her. I believe Illinois was pursuing her.

Can a top 10 recruit please come play for Hawaii?!?! $$$$$$ Yes please! It seems like we're always a step behind in the recruiting game. Like we're still actively recruiting 2021/2022's whereas most of the P5 or premiere programs are already onto 23/24s. It's very frustrating as a Hawaii fan to always play catch up .

Why do you think that happens?

Good pickup for Ohio State. Interesting to see how she continues to improve after Illinois high school volleyball totally evaporated last year due to COVID.
Egan was on that Sterling team with Lexi Rodriguez and the Borum sisters.
