Tommi Stockham is a senior for Bishop Gorman. The big question is how come these two didn't meet at Durango? The best team in Vegas apparently still isn't allowed to attend. This is an interesting story in itself. Gorman is not allowed to the Durango Fall Classic apparently because Green Valley HS has a policy that they will not play in any tournament that Gorman is in (unless it is the NIAA (state HS league)). Since Green Valley is one of the locations for the the DFC, that excludes Gorman. Why? Some people say it is because of basketball back in the day. Whatever the reason, Green Valley seems to be unable to get over something. This did not really matter until 4 years ago (for volleyball) since Gorman had never won state until 2016. This year, the best finisher of the NV teams was the 3A Boulder City which has a Utah and a BYU commit.

If that is true, then you have to love High School politics when it comes to sports. Sad.

Wasn't Endsley still offered a 'partial' by Nebraska, just not a 'full'. She took a walk instead and committed to Washington. I think she will have a great 4 years for the Huskies. * Being offered a 'partial' -> is a "recruiting miss" ? I didn’t realize a school would give a recruit a ‘partial’ anything if during the process they discover the recruit may be behavior or chemistry cancer. . . Would any team want to bring such a player into their program like that? Not sure. . . Sort of amusing. . . It’s like if you discovered the food you are being served is rotting, would you eat part of it, or get something else?

I still think the potential top recruit in this class is MB. Nya Bunton

Found another 2023 player that looks interesting. Thoughts? Word is she’s being recruited by some top schools as a Libero. Also side note, the setter and MB from this same team are studs!

Anybody who thinks anything else is delusional. Cancer? That is an awfully convenient story to spread when you have already squeezed her on both ends by giving a transfer her first year and squeezing the subsequent years by committing a 2021. She no longer fit so they pushed her out. Offering a partial is just a way to be able to tell other recruits with a straight face that you didn't renege, that the player chose to leave. So Nebraska already has a transfer coming in next year? Who is that?

Wisconsin needs to step up recruiting again here soon or they're gonna be in trouble in a couple years. Top 23s also not visiting Wisconsin much. Baylor really pulling in recruiting now. As is Indiana and UCLA. Its interesting to see how recruiting works in waves.

Personally I think the recruits would look a lot different had they waited a bit. They’re probably anxious right now for 23s given the new recruiting rules.

She is ok, but from what I can see, only a front row player. I think the mindset is moving more towards 6-rotation players due to their versatility. Which I why I like this kid Angelina Sayles. Go to 5:40 of this video and watch her Special Plays and Defense. Front Row, Back Row and speed. Add in the serving abilities and she checks all the boxes....minus height. But at 14 she still has time to grow a couple more inches.
