Great first in conference win. Things that changed this season: 1. Gage, Cowell, Stijn and Joe passing and digging game is real solid this year. Gage is everywhere and Cowell’s serve receive game is awesome! Stijn has also shown marked improvement. 2. Our starters can all set. Sets are quick, high and off the net right in the wheel house of our tall hitters. 3. Service game is still aggressive, but we’re getting em in this year, nearly as many aces as errors. Last night was kind of a fluke, maybe jitters. See if that improves tonite 4. Blocking: Gaz, Rado, Dalton huge improvement. Joe and Cowell at 6’1” with their amazing hops can also block. 5. The upgrade in passing has translated into an unpredictable offense that is riding on all cylinders right now. If last night’s .411+ Hitting stat vs the BWC #2 blocking and digging team is indicative of how we play this year, I like our chances.

Seems like Colton and Rado is having a bre ak out season, good for them and I hope they kick #ss this whole season. Go Bows! And the best part....theybboth are Junior's so we have another year with them....hopefully they stay. If we get someone just as good as Solbrig, we might very well be in the conversation for another title run.

And he can do the step out. Hopefully that pans out or that Brazilian Middle that they been talking about comes through.

J. Worsley and SVT will be the biggest loss for UH. Not just their talent, but their leadership. Long Beach will take a similar hit though, graduating Tuaniga and DeFalco. The BWC landscape will look a lot different next year.

I was wondering what happened to yesterday’s thread.😂 I’d figure one thread for the series is easier to keep track.

I'll be surprised if it goes 3-0 for either team. I expect a scrap.
