"The weather this morning was really rough with wind and rain and then it stayed windy all day. Playing on a fast surface and windy conditions is definitely not our strongest situation, but we played well enough to get the wins we needed today," said head coach Russell Brock. "I was really impressed with how our team handled all the lineup changes. We are still working to find our best lineup and everything we tried today worked well and gave us incredible feedback."

Is the level of competition that much higher between pairs 2-3? With the results in the USC and Pepperdine match, I know it's been brought up about switching pairs 2-3 and how the Cannon/Slater are better than Poletto/Hallgreen, but can we make the argument now that they should at least test out Poletto-Hallgreen at 2?

Cannon/Slater 14-5; 0-2 vs Pepperdine, 0-1 vs UCLA, 0-1, FSU (all at 2)
Poletto/Hallgreen 18-1; only loss to Hawai'i (Martin/Napoleon) (all at 3)

I guess you can make the argument that Cannon/Slater only lost to pairs from teams that are in the Top 5, while Poletto/Hallgreen lost to a pair from a team that is currently ranked 6th (very close match by the way). I can actually see this being the answer or reasoning to end this question.
