Other conferences’ championship tournaments are probably broadcast by their respective networks. PAC-12 Networks will carry all three days of the PAC-12 tourney. I can’t wait to be at Merle Norman Stadium for that one.

I agree about USC and UCLA being the top schools for beach players right now. I am surprised that a Florida school isn't pushing either more. Hawaii has a great offering for beach players, until they realize they're actually on an island. That world becomes pretty small in rapid order. Someone will come along and have a great season, knocking the So Cal schools off the perch, but at least for a while, Trojans and Bruins are running the show. I agree with your Hawaii comment and the original post about USC and UCLA being the elite of the field. I would say top recruits that get immediate playing time would like it there (Hawaii) but for everyone else who has to wait for their shot might have a miserable time (we all have a choice on the type of experience we'll have). Hawaii is probably better of recruiting Grad students with some beach experience.
I think it's a toss up for top recruits (from mid to south areas) when choosing schools. 3 of the top 5 are from Cali, 5 of the top 10 from California, and 3 from Florida.
As the college beach season is only 3 or so months long, I'm always curious about Hawaii players. If they want to play in some of the circuits, there aren't very many short trips to get there. I enjoy visiting the islands, but absolutely no desire to live on any.

The ladies do play in the circuits in the off-season...with that said most of them are from the mainland. There are a few Hawaii locals that make the trip during the off-season. With the sport growing I can see some sort of business venture that would help student athletes compete and gain experience during the off season. I can also see some grey line being crossed with that idea, I'm still not clear how the NCAA handles pro and amateur status in vball.

Cammie Dorn’s hand was injured on the last point against LBSU. Spriggs was called in the net. I didn’t see any contact when Spriggs punched the ball down. But Dorn must have jammed or extended something. We we will see if she is back next week. USC really needs her at the 5s. Source: Long Beach Spiker News

LMAO that a division 1 conference feels the need to use "Non-Advancing Team" on their official bracket instead of "Loser".

Dumbest thing ever. They do advance. Into the loser's bracket.
