Who will step up to be as successful as Claes/Hughes or Graudina/Bustamante? Nourse/Nourse At the 1’s? No. The strongest pair would be Hallgren/Slater. I’m a little surprised it took this long for the Graudina thing to be announced.

Also assuming they don’t pick up a graduate transfer who could be a blocker since both Hallgren/Slater currently play defense. Let’s just say the top 3 teams will be open for competition next fall.

Stetson does have the advantage of recency bias. Committee -- and I don't know this for sure at all -- could look at who's done what for me lately, and Stetson has that. It'll be interesting for sure

#8 Stetson junior Sunniva Helland-Hansen: "We want to get to nationals. That's part of the bigger goal. Winning the ASUN for sure, but it's a given that we should win that. We know that there is no option to lose." www.news-journalonline.com/sports/20190417/stetson-beach-volleyball-ranked-eighth-in-country-eyes-third-straight-asun-titleStetson played 19 ranked opponents during the regular season, and won 11 of those matches, a school record. (...) The most important of the 11 wins took place last Friday, when the Hatters knocked off No. 9 Florida International (...). "They've beaten us for almost three years in a row now," said Stetson head coach Kristina Hernandez. "(...) We knew if we had won that match it could get us into the race, and if we lost it would mean we were probably done."

Tina Graudina actually made contact with UCLA, Stanford, and Pepperdine before finally signing with USC, she was exploring her options, yes USC was the first to contact her and kept in touch.
Her present and previous Latvian partner has been playing with someone else in Tina's absence while at USC

#5 Pepperdine senior Heidi Dyer: "I had my own relationship with God my junior year of high school, but everything changed when I got to college. I wasn't really surrounded by many believers and it got really hard. I started to doubt if God was real. I started to doubt if any of it was true or worth it. I struggled a bit, but the summer after freshman year (...) became a turning point in my faith journey. (...) God really took me under His wing. It's completely transformed my life." pepperdinewaves.com/news/2019/4/16/competing-with-purpose-blog-womens-volleyball-q-a-heidi-dyer-jenna-tunnell.aspx"My life would not be where it is today if I didn't come to Pepperdine. If I had gone to any other school, I would be a completely different person," said Heidi Dyer.

Cal junior Madison Dueck:
"Mima Mirkovic's parents graciously hosted us for a team dinner and served us some INCREDIBLE food. Her dad was quite the chef and prepared FOUR different types of pastas with chicken and veggies, it was so yummy. The next day we were able to beat Long Beach State."
"Maddie Micheletti's family were kind enough to host the team at their home. We packed our stomachs full with more delicious, homemade food and were able to chill a bit (...). The following day we weren't able to pull out any dual wins."
