I had typed out a freakin' humongous match report on UH/Purdue, but it exceeded the stupid character limit for a post. Then when I hit the back button, the form was blank. Bogus.
Odin - your site is THE SUCK!
Anyway - I drove almost 5 hours roundtrip to watch a match that was a little over an hour long. Spent about 50 bucks in gas, tolls, parking, ticket, and obligatory NCAA program and Championship T-shirt.
I guess it was worth it.
Good luck UH in the remainder of the tourney. Congrats to Purdue on a great season.
P.S. I'm digging Purdue #14 Dildine's jumpserve. Very, very much like Andrea Sartoretti from the Italian Olympic team. The parallel-to-square approach on the jumpserve - MUY MACHO! ;D

Oh yeah, and to answer Idadoof's question earlier about the Ivy League team that made it to a volleyball Final Four, the answer is:
..................
..................
.................
..................
Princeton Men's team, 1998. NCAA Final Four in Honolulu, Hawaii. Lost to Pepperdine 0-3 in the first semifinal. (Hey, I didn't say WOMEN'S FINAL FOUR either here or in my original post).
So....bleh. Ivy League team DID SO MAKE A VOLLEYBALL FINAL FOUR!!!!!

Don't you know? You type out your text in WordPad or NotePad at your leisure, then cut/paste into the Forum's box. If anything happens, all your hard work is still there.

Actually, I remember that. Wasn't that the only time an EIVA representative was from the Ivy League? Also, they upset Rutgers-Newark for the berth. They gave out plastic leis after winning the match(that was pretty cool).

It should only happen once. Save it next time to another file, so if you lose it, it is not a wasted effort.

It happens to be very easy to highlight all of what you typed, copy it to the clipboard, then click the post or preview button.
Then if whatever you type gets lost for any reason you simply past it back in from the clipboard.
