And you all thought Kerri rules the universe. Once again me may own the AVP, but he’s still as AHole!! She wanted to rule the volleyworld but failed. It's a shame she didn't have a better sense of how realistic her plan was. Unfortunately for Bill, he bought in and alienated himself from the AVP with his words and actions. This shouldn't be a surprise. Exactly, he was leader of anti-AVP sediment and was very vocal about it. He now will join Page as guys banished to the outer courts of San Bernardino.

Kerri doesn't rule the universe but she was certainly influential enough to wreck young aspiring potential volleyball careers, she thought she was bigger than the AVP and couldn't have been more wrong. The grass is not always greener and the allure of the great Kerri Walsh will soon dissipate, Billy has no one to blame except himself and the Walsh Jennings clan (who are far more financially set than he is) for what will most likely soon be the downward trajectory of his professional volleyball career with the new up and coming guys starting to make it on the AVP tour.

You have to feel for the guy though for drinking the P90 Kool Aid, dude didn't realize he was signing his own BVB death sentence.

I feel badly for Kolinske. I admire people who stand on principle, especially at the expense of their best interests. Everyone agreed it was a bad contract. Donald Sun won. Donald, bask in your victory but don't penalize Kolinske for standing on his principles. Standing on principles caused a colony to become this country.

I hear you Stevie, but honestly what do you think would have happened to the people who stood on principle if we had lost the revolutionary war? Would they have just said ahhh you guys, funny joke come on and just let bygones be bygones and be friends again.......no they most likely would have been imprisoned for life or more likely been decapitated/hung in a public event.

And you all thought Kerri rules the universe. Once again me may own the AVP, but he’s still as AHole!! And in comes Kerri with pro P90 crap. Billy's beach volleyball career is toast now along with Page, Travis can't cover the sport he loves. Your legacy is truly remarkable. I don't know specifics, but it is really too bad Travis signed with p40. I don't blame AVP for not granting him the credential. What does p40 have him cover, their non-existent tournaments, college/juniors tournaments? I hate to see him caught up in it, I loved his writing about the AVP. Hopefully he is being compensated well by Kerri.

Travis, like Billy, should have known better, especially Travis as he signed up with an organization that from all indications was all but dead. Now he's actually someone I don't feel too bad for, like the guy, he has to know better.

If you're Billy about the only thing he can do is sue the AVP at this point. I'm not saying that's smart but beyond that there are no BVB options for him as every single other player is playing AVP. He could I guess try to track down Page and transition to defender, make their 2024 run early.

Travis wrote/covered the HB tournament despite Donald threatening to ban him if he wrote about it.
That is a FACT!!!
Leave it to a guy from Baltimore to stand up to a bully.

What is the point of trying to ban Travis from covering the AVP? Isn’t media coverage a good thing? And let’s face it, for all the things the AVP is doing well, getting lots of media coverage is not one of them. Was there a single story about Huntington by a non-vb-specific media entity?

Billy spoke against Sun's business model, why should he be allowed to reap from it now that his horse is glue? Speaking against something that you don’t believe in shouldn’t get you a lifetime ban from your livelihood. Sun is being unreasonable.

Speaking against something that you don’t believe in shouldn’t get you a lifetime ban from your livelihood. Sun is being unreasonable. Billy didn't just speak against it he tried to assist a revolution, he marketed himself as a leader among the anti-contract/anti-AVP group with Casey and Kerri in his ear threatening a man's business. Now everyone has agreed at some point or another Sun has taken his level of petty to unfathomed heights regarding controversy in and around the contract, but they stood to potentially threaten his business without any remorse so in a sense its eye for an eye except majority of the 1440 backers have way more to lose. That is far different than Sun telling Travis not to cover the AVP or receive a ban, now that is being unreasonable. No offense to Travis here but he is a far better writer than he is volleyball player and Sun would stand to lose literally nothing if 1440 ever got going again. If I was Travis I would suggest requesting a private meeting with Donald and his editors/bosses, or contact a writers union, and see if he can't hash this out as he provides really great coverage of the tour.

No point at all just Donald flexing his EGO and letting everyone know he's the big man on campus. Standard bully stuff.
