Sushi and Guinness are great but I can't say I tried them both at the same time. I'm more the Guiness, sushi type (very hard to find good places). And mandate is a joke. (Was going to say "Mandate, my ass!" but I figured this crowd may not be mature enough to let it pass.)

Oh well...I am still proud of the Big West teams esp. Pacific for almost taking Cal out of it and LBSU for almost beating UCLA also. 2 unranked teams giving ranked teams a nightmare. Rice and Nevada...maybe next year...but Rice is not going to be WAC anymore. Looks like I will have to cheer for New Mexico State and Idaho if they make it in next year ;-)

Alright, I was following you when you mentioned Pacific and Cal (since that match went five), but Long Beach? How can a team that got swept 'almost' have beaten the other team? That would be like saying, "Yale almost beat Minnesota". Conversely, saying that "Kansas almost beat Washington", wouldn't be a 'stretch'. I'm not looking to start an argument, just trying to put your comments into perspective.

Congrats cb on your Cardinal advancing! Ogonna was something else towards the end of the match (especially in game four).

I'm so proud of her and how far along this team has come! I think that really made people understand how much of a leader she really is. And she was impressive defensively, with 16 digs. Texas is solid and every match I'm nervous. So lets hope they continue with this momentum.

Although PSU never faced a match point, I'd say Russ feels that their sweep of Maryland was a pretty close call.

Woo Hoo I'm smarter than uffda and Gorf . . . oh wait, I'm only as smart as uffda . . . darn . . . Tis no easy feat outsmarting the quite bright (R)uffda!. I on the otherhand am easy to outsmart, except in my areas of expertise... Such as... Well... I'll get back to you on those once I've figured out which areas qualify for me.
