UPDATED results, after the Sweet 16 round. Please remember, this is my unofficial count, which, as shown above, was at odds with odin's tabulations (tho publius, personally, did better with odin's count) and no effort has been made to verify past results. Update only includes those doing better than Pablo after the first 2 rounds, IMO. To put it another way, if you ain't on this list, you ain't got a chance (even tho Mrs. Ruffda chose Wisconsin to get into the finals) or I miscalculated.
cbrown: 48-8 Idaho-Boy: 48-8 Kauai boy: 48-8 2-C: 48-8 Alberta: 47-9 Koloheheiki: 47-9 publius: 47-9 ("I have yet begun to fight")(but if Nebraska loses to Washington, I think I lose) Sand VB: 45-11 Simply Curious: 45-11 Pablo: 44-12
Dang. I dunno now... I don't think I can place better than second to Cbrown and kauaiboy.
Well, you are partially right: cbrown and Kauai boy look to be the top two, possibly joined by 2c, and publius could be third with 2c, or 4th alone, and, AT BEST, Idaho Boy could be 5th. If Washington beats UCLA and Stanford, cbrown and his "sophie's choice" wins. If UCLA or Stanford beat Wash. and USC wins, the first 3 go into tie-breaker, with # of games determining and if still a tie, total points scored. Danm Huskers. (this all presupposes publius' numbers are correct; if Odin's are correct, publius is looking mighty fine!) Who would imagine Big 12 couldn't even make it to the FF, when, in an off year, Pac 10 gets 3 in there (and maybe all from "over-the-hill" California teams. So far: cbrown 50-9 2-c 50-9 Kauai boy 49-10 publius 49-10 Alberta 48-11 Koloheheiki 48-11 Idaho-boy 48-11 Sand VB 46-13 Simply Curious 46-13 Pablo: 45-14

With only the Final Four matches left, here are the unofficial standings of the top 10: cbrown 51-9 Kauai boy 50-10 publius 50-10 2-C 50-10 Idaho-boy 49-11 Alberta 49-11 Koloheheiki 49-11 Ruffda 47-13 Sand VB 47-13 Simply-Curious 47-13 Pablo 46-14 The worst cbrown can do is tie for overall. The best Kauai boy can do is tie for overall. They go to tiebreaker if USC wins against Minnesota AND if Stanford beats Washington. Otherwise, congrats to cbrown. Everyone else: see ya next year, but take consolation that each of you beat Pablo and can join in on IB's Neener, neener, neener!!!

Hmmm. I am also 47-13. With 3 of the 4 final teams still playing.
Thank you. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much.
You are absolutely correct, Ruffda. Sometime back, I only started updating those who had better records than Pablo. At that point, Pablo was 39-9 and you were 38-10, so I dropped you off the chart, and as I mentioned elsewhere, I did not update results for those who were below Pablo at that point. There may be others who deserve to be on the list ahead of Pablo lurking in those backwoods. Sorry for the omission. Thanks for speaking up, Ruffda. I will correct the above listing. That being said, your remaining choices are Minnesota twice and Washington. Even if you are correct (and boot-strap the Big10 back into prominence ), you will end up no better than tied for 3rd place with 3 others, behind cbrown and, um, yours truly. But you certainly have earned "neener, neener, neener"-rights.

Pablo was hurt by the monkey-wrench in the works, namely FAMU. I'd be willing to bet that Agent B would even admit that it's mighty tough to program around a team with a schedule like FAMU's.
That's 4 of Pablo's losses right there.
CSU and Missouri also hurt, but those two probably hurt the flesh and blood participants, too.
