Ugh. Really bad semifinal for Field. Yep. Also, his block is pretty nonexistent. Jeremy just ripping away without any fear.

Field is clearly not ready for this stage.

Anyone who disagrees with my statement that Troy is an elite AVP blocker needs to watch him roof Skylar over and over and over. I currently disagree.

Field is clearly not ready for this stage. which is fine, I hope they don't think of this tournament as a failure after this beat down. They did well, and have some things to work on.

Would love to see Chaim and Jeremy get their first wins. Two guys who are easy to root for. As has already been said, the hard sand works in their favor.

Two 3rds in a row is still really good for Field/Bomgren. Not sure anyone would've predicted that for their first two tournaments.
Not sure how much better they'd be if the could train together all the time, but it could help with consistency.
Field is playing better than I thought he would be this early in the season. Does he have a coach? He definitely has areas he could improve, and the right coach could get a lot out of him (assuming he's coachable).

Nice to see Nick jump serving instead of the floater. To me shows they are aware they need mix things up against this team.

Thank god they brought someone into the booth with Dain. It was brutal while he was by himself. I think he's ok for a color commentator, not the play by play guy.
