I'm watching Rosie Santos and Cribb. I can't even tell if Rosie has even lost a step he looks very good and consistent. I still think that's an interesting pairing communication wise because you have Rosie who isn't a good communicator at all and Ricardo who can't even speak English. Rosie might not be the same player but I don't think there are any midlevel floaters that Ricardo could even consider that would be better than Rosie.

This match is super high level. Both teams are siding out at will and there isn't many mistakes at all. Hopefully I don't jinx it.

A Rosie/Ricardo vs Dalcena semi or a Gibb/Crabb vs Dalcena semi is a guaranteed good quality matchup.

Has to be one of the worst net calls I have ever seen on Ricardo right there. Dude has every right to be pissed.

But if Beranek were playing with Ricardo he would be forcing Jake/Taylor into mistakes. You know with the same defense that was so close to overwhelming Friend/Budinger For as impressive as Beranek looks against similar or less skilled opponents, he's equally as frustrating to watch against the better teams, specifically the better blockers. He shows he has potential at times, and other times he shows that he isn't anywhere close to being a consistence main draw player.

Dalcena vs Crabb/Gibb tomorrow.
One team is going home with a third.
Crabb/Gibb played 3 extra matches.

Beej05 - thanks for letting us know what its like out there! Last question - do you think the heat/humidity is affecting the players at all? Its got to be messing with some of the older guys, one would think? 405LAX - agreed about Beranek and Ricardo. Its not always about pure statistics - seems to me like you should also take into account a guy's partner at the time he may be playing against whoever you are comparing him to. Beranek's points scored against someone are not really relevant, because they are not really "Beranek's points," are they? Guess that's why its a team sport. Beranek would be a much better choice for Ricardo at this time - would probably rejuvenate him a bit, and Ed would learn so much from getting some reps in with a guy like Ricardo. Thoughts, Stevieofmb? I really don’t think so. It was really overcast today. As far as Texas heat it hasnt been THAT hot. Still humid but not like last year

Holy crap! Troy Field looked fast sprinting over to get the first question from Camryn for the post game interview! I wished his feet moved like that to transition off the net after blocking.

Wife and I set up at stadium court. Ready for the field match. I’m forging for Timmy and Field. But wife really thinks Chaim and casebeer. The way Casebeer has been serving I think they go to finals. Chaim has been solid. 405 can you tell your boy enough with the windmills and transition?! I’d appreciate for a good match

I’d appreciate for a good match Casebeer and Schalk on hard packed sand should be really tough and I imagine Jeremy will be bombing serves at Field. Would love to see Bomgren and Field in a final - two years in a row for Tim?

Definitely served field most of the match. Field getting up but just looks like Casebeer has his number. Casebeer also serving great. They may want to try and serve Chaim to test it out.

Tim and Schalk look really good. Not trying to do too much.
HOWEVER, Tim and Troy have put no pressure on them serving. None.
They have to put those guys out of system to have a chance.
Of course, 1st serve of 2nd set, T/T serve out.
