People can do whatever they want I suppose, so long as they are not mistreating their dogs. But personally, I don't think strollers for otherwise healthy dogs should be encouraged, at least in most cases. They are dogs, not a human baby. It's better for their physical and mental well-being for them to walk and move on their own, unless you are talking about certain situations where it might not be appropiate to do so. But those are the exceptions rather than the rule. Unless the dog is elderly or have an illness, I don't think it needs to be on a stroller. I can't help but wonder whether some owners are confusing their dog for their children, especially those empty-nesters whose kids have moved away after college graduation. Most Snowbirds in SoFlo have been empty nesters for 20+ years so I don't know what they are doing! It's possible some older folks want to have that strong parent feel again. Maybe their kids have yet to give birth to a grandchild (or decide not to have kids), so they are not grandparents, but they want to care for something precious again anyway, a life, and a dog would be the obvious choice. That's perfectly understandable. What's not so understandable or good though is to treat your dog just like a human baby. But dog is a animal, not a human, can't treat them the same.

I have two dogs and I walk them separately because one of them poops a lot (4 or 5 times). That's a lot of poop bags to hold while trying to maneuver two leashes.
Just thought I'd share.

I'm trying to teach my dog the "finish" command. This is a complex command where the dog rushes over to your left side and sits. The first 40 seconds of this video shows it:
