Also Naz is OFFICIALLY back with the Turkish NT. Just read an article about her return. She will surely boost their chances to win the CEV Olympic qualifier in January. So exciting!

EurovolleyTV is much better than FLO and they do have matches on Demand. According to their website there`s no Geo blocked for the US.
Flo has the quaterfinals, semis and final on their schedule. I wish they would stream the whole tournament since they are actually getting the stream from Eurovolley TV.

ECH is a very competitive tournament and is at a very high level. I will follow this tournament for sure. I had a great experience with EurovolleyTV this past season watching Champions League. But most of ECH matches are at my working time, I am still undecided on whether or not to subscribe.

Netherlands will probably be their main challenger for the Olympic spot. I honestly won't be disappointed in either team qualifying. I wish both of them could be there honestly. Turkey will only get better with time as many of their current starters are very young. Also I read somewhere that Melissa Vargas is pursuing Turkish citizenship. That changes the whole game. If Karakurt can develop into an OH.....or hell even staying at Opposite they will be a killer combo. Erdem and Boz will likely be done after this quad with the NT. Naz and Akoz are around the same age but I could see them pushing into the 2024 quad.

Bulgaria, who pushed USA to the brink for an Olympic bid, is really struggling in the 1st set against France.
France up 13-5

So far from what I have watched.....Italy looks to be playing the best.
They started Malinov, Folie, Chirichella, Sylla, Egonu, Sorokaite (OH) and De Gennaro vs Portugal yesterday and obliterated them. Taking the opponent into consideration they just looked smooth and in control the entire time.
The Netherlands also looks to have improved as well. Buijs passed really well vs Romania yesterday. The Dutch shut them out 25-9 in the final set.....ouch!
Turkey looks better having Naz and Meliha back with them. Karakurt has played both matches so far on the left side. She passes better than Baladin and has kept her on the bench. Guidetti brought 4 OH's with Ercan and Yildirim along with Baladin and Ismailoglu. Boz is starting at OPP with Yilmaz as the back-up/dbl sub.
Serbia isn't the favorite with so many good players missing IMO. Rasic, Stevanovic, Zivkovic and Antonijevic having not played at all this summer. Apparently Terzic upset them and they just aren't participating. Will they return?!

Olga Strantzali (Miami-FL) put up 18 points in a 3-0 sweep of France. If Greece beats Bulgaria, it's inconceivable that Bulgaria will make the Round of 16.
Bulgaria could go from being points away from an Olympic bid, to not being even Top 16 at the European Championships. Incredible.
