Seems like the blockers in the Q are somewhat stronger than the defenders overall, but how to sort them out? I'd love to hear thoughts from someone who sees more of CBVA, quali games etc. on how these guys stack up both in terms of who are the best now and which have the potential to be real top tier pros:
Sauter, Benesh, Webber, Dentler, Miller, Lotman, Yoder
I left out:
Jacobs, Irvin, Bruno, Toppel, Travis and Palm based on my own judgment or their age/priorities and I am sure there are others I missed and if you think they belong in the previous group by all means please put them in

without looking at results my best now ranking is:
benesh dentler lotman webber sauter miller
highest potential:
benesh webber sauter miller dentler lotman
left off yoder because i don't think he is that good, or very high potential

I think Kris Johnson should be in the conversation. He has only been playing beach for a little over a year now. He’s about 6’10” with really long arms and he’s pretty athletic. Not a great passer or setter. Kinda reminds me of Ryan Doherty when he first came on the scene.

There's some young guy from Florida who was a monster at Hermosa, got to final couple rounds, I'll look for his name, big and physical.

Huge, 6’10” - 6’11.” Bounced around in college, played for at least three different schools that I can recall. Athletically, he’s no Evandro, or even a Robbie Page. Would have to make a huge leap to become a main draw player.

"Athletically, he's no Robbie Page" is probably the second most cutting thing I have heard from someone on this forum, right after volleyballjim 's never to be forgotten - about David Lee - "He's an Olympian? In what sport? Definitely not volleyball"

Actually Welsh is very athletic, just inexperienced at high level beach. He moves well and jumps well-big upside- needs serious off season training

I'd put Peter Connole on the list too.
As a defender, if you asked me right now who I'd take as a partner, this would be my order:
benesh lotman webber miller Connole Jacobs dentler sauter

Travis smoked Paul at the seaside and housed him 5 times. Looked very good I think Travis is getting some confidence. He's had a pretty good last month or so.
