Unless you talk to the people on the "inside" off the record, you won't know if this is something that should be congratulated. Not all mergers and acquisitions are good for the sport, the acquiring company (or the one with a controlling interest), or the acquired company (or the people associated with the acquired company with the minority interest). It might be but we won't really know until some time has passed.

I don't get too excited about mergers and acquisitions. I have more of a "we'll see what happens" attitude. I hope Kerri Walsh won't use this for global thermonuclear domination.
