1. I am surprised that p1440 stuck to their absolutely baffling name. Even to this day, I don't know what it means even though at one time, I read about it and understood. It's one of those things that don't stick in the mind.
2. Speaking of stick, I sort of respect p1440 for stubbornly sticking to their name.

KWJ said when she launched, "the name p1440 was inspired by the number of minutes in a day and the idea of living all of them with intention and purpose". Otherwise I had no idea either!

Well, you're spending roughly 7-9 hours per day sleeping. That's 420-540 minutes. So, they should really change it to "p1000 (or thereabouts)". I myself am okay with devoting only 30 minutes per day with intention and purpose. I should make a "p30" t-shirt.

What good is purpose when intent is omitted? I must lie down now.

Also, what did she do on 12/31/2016? Was it p1441 for a day, or did she slack off? The Ip Man would object to the use of "ip".

Whatever happened to the volleymob online mag? Did someone else take it over? Well, the most recent post on there is predictions for last year's Final Four (the last Twitter post is also about that article), so it seems to be defunct, unfortunately.

P1440 is an awful name. (Or maybe I'm overrating the ability to sort of figure out what a company is by some part of its name if it's a brand trying to grow...p1440 sounds like an internal corporate filing system of some sort. Not a good marketing move to call your company something nobody understands the reference to. They need a DBA, STAT.)

They should've named it after a fruit, e.g., Apple, or some nonsense children's playground exclamatory word, e.g., yahoo, or merge two separate words into one word, e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube.

Kerri Walsh is an Irish Twin. She could've gone with something derived from the Irish Twin concept, given she plays two-man beach volleyball.
