Nope they both scored one point, on the court their achievements are identical Which one will help grow the sport... the bored looking awkward giant who doesn't emote, or the jumpy guys who feed off the spectators? I personally found watching Kareem Abdul Jabbar as boring a FK, and enjoyed the hell out of Magic Johnson. magic Johnson is 6’9...

If the discussion is who is more entertaining, I love smaller players and I hate that less skilled giants dominate the game to a large extent. But that wasnt the topic. The discussion was who is better, and how dynamic a player is doesnt matter except as it affects how well he or she performs a necessary skill.

He brought Show Time to Los Angeles, which transcended just pro basketball. Kareem brought... yawns. The comparison was Ryan vs. the jumping beans like Field et. al.
