All fans of Pac-10 teams need to come together and support each other in the regional finals tomorrow. First, we will all focus our energy to Green Bay regional to support and shout for Stanford. Then, we will turn our attention to Louisville regional, and root for USC. After that is over, we can take a breather, collect our thoughts and get dinner while Minnesota and Ohio State do their thing. As for UCLA vs Washington, well, who should we root for? I think the key here is the USC-Nebraska match. As great as the Badgers played last night, I think they will be emotionally and physically drained from last night's match, which will play a huge factor. Not to mention they will have to face the hottest hitter in collegiate volleyball right now in Ogonna Nnamani (some may say Gordon, but I'll still sticking with Nnamani). USC and Nebraska on the other hand... too close to call and USC will have to seriously up their game. I think one of the keys will be Florian's play. We know that Burdine is steady on both offense and defense, but Florian will not only have to hit well, but she'll have to pass well too to open up the middle for Adams and Candelas. The two middles will also have to play very well. As of right now, I have Nebraska winning, but USC looks very, very dangerous, especially if they get on a roll.

By the way, if I had any control over the Selection Committee's seedings, I two would have done my very best for two top seeds (OSU/Minn & UCLA/Washington) from the same conference in the same bracket fighting for a Final Four spot. I would have tried to set it up as best as possible, where legitimately, it could have been an all Big Ten or Pac-10 or Big12 Final Four.

Hawaii fans complain about flying all over the place. What about PSU to the west coast while UCLA is already there?
As usual, IB wants it both ways.
I'm not going to make any more excuses for PSU, however. I still say their pre-season schedule does not prepare them for the NCAAs. Yes, they keep winning the Big10, but this has more to do with Minnesota NOT winning it (and the OSU/PSU pairing).
I have a question: if Wisconsin knocks off Stanford, does that cancel out the UCLA win over PSU? Has to come close, right? (And, btw, PSU beat Stanford AT Stanford. How soon we forget.)
I still don't know why, if Washington is going to be a #7 (and we all know they should have been a top 4), they didn't send Hawaii to Seattle and PSU to Louisville.
Anyhow, you're basing way too much on one match, conveniently forgetting UCLA's, Stanford's, USC's (Illinois!) non-conference struggles.

I don't want it both ways. I just want it a reasonably fair way. I wasn't JUST complaining about Hawaii's shafting in the first rounds, I was complaining up and down the bracket about all the shaftings every which way but down.
I actually do recall saying that Penn State ALSO got shafted as being a 2 seed. I recall saying after Washington's last two losses that Hawaii should go to Seattle (it would have made a hell of a lot more sense!)
If the NCAA wants to break the country into Regions, they should at least make leagues, like the NBA, NFL etc. and have one "half or quarter" of the country win the right to face the other "half or quarter" in the Final Four.
It sucks as it is. Just plain is stupid.

Wow, the only reason the Final Four isn't an all Pac-10 affair is because the Minneapolis reagion has no Pac-10 teams. I think Cal or UCLA could have come out of that region.
