Thus far tonight, it is 3-for-3 for Pac-10 teams advancing into regional finals. First USC, then Stanford and now UCLA. I am looking for Washingto to complete the Pac-10 sweep.

A Washington win would mean a Final 8 with 4 from the Pac 10, 3 from the Big 10, and Nebraska. This really does demonstrate the depth of quality in the top two conferences this year!

The Pac-10 proves its' dominance as a conference by advancing 4 teams to the Elite 8. Pac-10 _IS_ King of volleyball. No matter how hard the other conferences try.

PAC-10 proves its worth, and that it got dissed without a top 4 seed.
I remember there were comments that the PAC-10 was down this year ... go figure.

So you're just ASKING someone from Big 10 country to come in and refute your troll-ish statement? I look at it that the Big Ten fans have been fibbing inciting the Pac-10 followers with their comments of how good the Big Ten was... But, it always comes down to Pac-10 being king in the post-season.

I am not savvy enough to quickly put this into a chart, but the Pac 10 clearly is the best performing conference as of the elite 8:
Pac 10: 4 teams in; 2 of 2 of top 8 seeds still in Big 10: 3 teams in; 2 of 3 of top 8 seeds still in Big 12: 1 team in; 1 of 2 top 8 seeds still in WAC: 0 teams in; 0 of 1 top 8 seeds still in
Pretty amazing that in a so-called-by-against-west-coast-teams "weak year" for the Pac 10, they comprise 50% of the remaining 8 teams.

Without jinxing anything, what would really give them braggin rights would be to have 3 out of 4 teams in the Final Four.
