People, pleeeeease. If USC wins lets not call it an upset. This team is a two time defending champion and has at least four players who are about 18 - 2 in the NCAA tournament and coached by someone with 4 national titles and a stint in the olympics. This is the toughest match-up for the Huskers and I think this match will produce the national champion. It won't be an upset, regardless of the outcome.

This a match worthy as a finals, it will be a slug-fest; but I agree the word "UPSET" should not even be associated with it. I agree with your assesment.

You are trying to turn this into a east coast- west coast dissing war, but the picks could happen; this year has been insane. Is Seattle east of LA, or Minneapolis east of Columbus? BTW: Why didn't you make your comment to huskyrainbowfan who had the exact opposite selections in the second post of the thread?

Congrats to BiK and Saywho for calling Stanford in 3 (I called it in 4). Tough luck, Gorf and Ruffda, who somehow had thought Wisconsin would win. I do think that a Big 10 team will move on to the Final Four from the Big 10s regional venue. ;D

I said Stanford was better. It was just a hunch. A wrong one. I had no idea Wisconsin would play so poorly. That's what I get for believing all the Hawaii rabble's hype from last night. (I'm also picking USC over the better team.)

Wisconsin played great against Hawaii, against Stanford...well not so much. Purdue played great against Colorado State, not to well against Hawaii. I remember in 1999 Texas A&M upset Hawaii at home, then got smoked by Long Beach the next night. That's why I think Washington will sweep UCLA, I have a feeling they might be a little flat tonight.

Pac-10 assured berth in Championship Game. Yes, either #11 seed Stanford or #7 seed Washington or #15 seed UCLA will be in the finals. Maybe #8 seed USC will play one of the above teams for the national championship. What a surprise that the Pac 10 made it this year.

PSU really let us down.
HUGE advantage that the top 3 Pac10 teams are in separate regionals, however.

Maybe a "teenie" advantage at best, since 3 of the top 4 Big10 teams are in separate regionals, just as 3 of the top 4 Pac10 teams are in separate regionals. Of course, 2 Big10 teams "hosted" the regionals, to only 1 from the Pac10.
