Well, now that Stanford and USC have won, there will be one more Pac 10 team i the Final Four--either Washington or UCLA. So much for the weak Pac 10. If they had only sent UCLA to Minn. there might have been four. Congrats to the Pac 10

With 3 teams from the PAC-10 in the Final Four, this makes Jim McLaughlin's coaching job in the PAC-10 even more amazing as he was only 4 points away from going undefeated in the PAC-10 losing by two points in the 5th game to both USC and Stanford. It is going to be wild if it ends up being Washington vs USC in the Finals.

It is going to be wild if it ends up being Washington vs USC in the Finals. All of that is nice, but the Big Ten clearly had three top teams. It would have been nice if they also had been in three separate regionals, just like the Pac-10 had their top three in separate regionals. And Ohio State may have lost, but they certainly could have thrown a monkey wrench into the "Pac 10 is the greatest" scenario.
