Ah-Mow just signed with Volero Zurich= Wow, she's a real warrior this one. I was convinced that after the OG, she was going to “retire” with the baby and all. I guess she is really having vb in her blood. Do you think this means she will continue on with the NT? Hum we will see this summer I guess. Thanks for the update. ;D

Forgot to mention Benishe Roberts also plays for them and Jeri Estes is the coach of the team... This is the team with very close ties to Nikolai Karpol of Russia - some players of his have played there in the past.... Here is the roster www.volero.ch/001vol_0201_de.htm

Damn! Valero is really trying hard all of a sudden... Artamanova, Donnets, Korukovets... They also have Benishe Roberts... Ok, I admit it, I haven't followed the LNA. How in the world is this team in 3rd? Are all of the above injured??? Zeiler doesn't have anyone I remember from 2 years ago (or anyone I've heard of for that matter), and Franches' team is a mystery to me also.

Artamonova is on and off as far as I know - she's been struggling with chronic injuries. She is also working with their youth teams I believe.
I've seen Zeiler play and a team with this roster should beat them (Eczacibasi beat them both home and away in Top Teams and they (eczaci) are not that good this year.) Maybe they will move up now with the addition of Ah Mow...

She's listed on the Valero website at a shade under 6'4". If her back had been healthy enough to take the court, Russia likely would have won the Olympics in a rout.

I'm curious whether Sabrina Metzger (#7) is a relative of Stein Metzger or it's just a name coincidence?
