What is Lamar thinking? I get the sense they think they are a bigger dog than they really are... Team had more wins than last year (her first year); and had more wins last year than the year before under previous coach. They skipped tournament at North Dakota and stayed home to help with Hurricane Irma clean-up. What is Lamar doing...

Another school only giving coach two years!! Are AD’s treating volleyball like football now...win in less than two years or go home? You’ve never hired someone or had someone get hired, and figure out quickly that person can’t do the job? An AD who sees the coach every day should have a pretty good idea in 2 seasons if that coach will ever get the job done. Not saying that some ADs don’t pull the trigger quickly, but they have a better vantage point than anyone else.

Not a lot of unbiased observation going on. Good luck to whoever takes that train wreck.

Montana State Assistant Coach opening has been posted - appears it has been vacant for the season - and they have had their best season in years with just two coaches - looks like it could be a great opportunity to get on something going in the fight direction jobs.montana.edu/postings/18913

This seems misleading; according to her FB page, she was let go for not making the conference tourney...Her words Making the conference tournament was a condition of moving forward past this season per my understanding. Seems the school was pretty clear on that goal for this year. Most schools will let you resign for resume reasons.

Coach has been at school for 4 years. 2 as Asst and 2 as HC. This seems to be the case of a clear objective that was missed.

The only thing I can say is that the view from the AD'S view point is usually very one sided.
They think they are sitting on a gold mine full of talent with Nebraska like support, while the truth is something farther south of that.

ADs DD hits .079 (hitting negative 8 times, while hitting over .200 just 5 times), leads the team in RE, finds only 13 blocks in 82 sets. When that’s the player whose success your job is based on, you are in trouble. This kid has now ended two coaching staffs and she has 2 years of eligibility left. I cannot imagine who is going to take this job.

I cannot imagine who is going to take this job. Nope. We aren’t going in on this kid. She wasn’t the problem as you think. She did not single handly get Sam and Julie fired. Your assumptions are incorrect so I need you all to understand that while assumptions can be made that because she is the ADs fault she is sitting on a throne to be able to make those decisions you are 100% more about the situation that you don’t know about. So let’s stop putting all of it on this kid and digging into her stats to find the answer because that is petty and doesn’t give the full story. Not her fault. Did she talk to dad? Yep. But way more things pushed the firing forward. More than talking to dad.
