So where would you rank the MVC amongst the mid-majors? After the power 5... 1) AAC 2) ? 3) ? 4) ? 5) ? MVC IS DOWN THIS YEAR. NOT IN THE TOP 10 CONFERENCES. NOT ENOUGH DEPTH AND TOO WEAK AT THE BOTTOM. Current RPI conference rankings: 1 PAC12 2 BIG10 3 BIG12 4 SEC 5 ACC 6 AAC 7 HORIZON 8 WEST COAST 9 BIG WEST 10 CONFERENCE USA 11 BIG EAST 12 IVY LEAGUE 13 MID AMERICAN 14 SUN BELT 15 MOUNTAIN WEST 16 COLONIAL 17 PATRIOT 18 WAC 19 ATLANTIC 10 20 MVC 21 SOUTHLAND 22 SUMMIT 23 BIG SKY 24 ATLANTIC SUN 25 SOUTHERN 26 OHIO VALLEY 27 BIG SOUTH 28 AMERICAN EAST 29 MID ATLANTIC 30 NORTHEAST 31 MID-EASTERB ATLANTIC 32 SOUTHWESTEN AAC. My order: 1) Big East (not top to bottom, but having Marquette and Creighton put them here) 2) Big West 3)WCC 4)AAC 5)MVC I agree accept I swap WCC and Big West. These are always subject to change year by year Can't see what I posted, I think I did something wrong. My order again 1. AAC 2. WCC 3. Big West 4.Big East 5. C-USA 6. MVC

That's a shame, solid coach. I heard that a huge part of the job is trying to fund raise for the program itself. And they have the fewest scholarships of anyone in the conference. They had a decent year this year and she is one of the nicest people. I am genuinely sad to see this. Less scholarships than Lafayette? I would think that fundraising is a big part of the job at any private school.

Less scholarships than Lafayette? I would think that fundraising is a big part of the job at any private school. Bucknell has two scholarships allocated for volleyball specifically. Some wiggle room to pick up academic aid in addition to that, but I can’t imagine Lafayette has less than that. But I could be wrong.

Lafayette dumped a bunch of money in a few years back. Went to five or six.

Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida (NCAA DII member of the Sunshine State Conference) is in need of a new First Assistant Coach! The position is a full-time position with full benefits package! Interested candidates must be interested in working at a strong Christian institution with a desire to see students grow in their faith during their time at PBA! Candidates must demonstrate how they plan on integrating their Christian faith into their job.
We are proud members of one of the toughest volleyball conferences in the nation (Sunshine State Conference) and are a high level national competitor in NCAA Division II. Our goal is to compete at the highest level, striving for national recognition, and competing for national championships while keeping a Christ-centered focus and approach. Would prefer to have the position filled by the end of January with a start date some time in February.
The position will be officially posted in the coming weeks on the university website, and all candidates will have to officially apply through the university website at that point. In the meantime, we have begun the process of gathering resumes. If interested, candidates can currently send their updated resumes to Head Coach, Doug Walters, at doug_walters@pba.edu . Coach Walters will also be in Pittsburgh for the AVCA Convention and would love to meet prospective candidates at that time as well.

Hearing that University of Mount Olive (NC) will be looking for a new women's coach. what's the news here? Hope whoever applies is a Gold Medal Squared person. The GMS office sent out an email that the Men's coach at Mt Olive is looking for candidates (he is part of the search and the position will also assist the men's team) and you "should be familiar with the coaching methods" to apply.
