Looks like the 2019 NCAA Women's Volleyball Selection Special will be on Sunday Dec 1 at 7:30 pm Central Time (not sure if that is Central or Eastern) and will air on ESPNU network
perhaps not worthy of its own thread, but I hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere yet

I assume there will be a basketball game on before the NCAA "reveal" show and as usual that telecast will run long.

I have actually never watched the Selection Show for NCAA women's volleyball in my entire life. the show in general is fairly worthless. Other than just seeing the pairings (which could just be posted online), the only worthwhile part is seeing the clips of team reactions when they see their name announced in the pairings. (and those aren't shown on the program themselves, but you need the show in order to generate the reaction clips online afterward) edit: I was perhaps being a bit harsh. It isn't "worthless". I just tend to not find much of the commentary all that interesting because it usually just centers around the same handful of teams that always get talked about year in and year out (none of whom I particularly care about). So other than the bracket itself and the reaction videos, I tend to find the rest boring, personally.

You should get you wish since she returned to coaching this year. I like Nell, but we might have to consider her a jinx if we win the NC.

I'm grateful for this thread, but am not sure it will (or need to) expand to dozens of pages. I came today looking for the schedule, as I start a steady JOB on Dec. 2. (Once training is over, it will be 3-10pm ET.) The new boss may allow transition days off, and we know which days I'll request, ha ha!
There's a rumor I heard in past recent years but never followed up on it. Does anyone know if NCAA.com does live streaming of all the R1, R2 matches, no matter what other streaming is happening? Though I never looked into and never needed to, I now wish to consider it. Perhaps the signal, if it comes through their site, is the same as "direct" sources. But it would be good to know if it DOES get channelled through their site. Please, someone confirm or dispell this rumor. TIA!

I have actually never watched the Selection Show for NCAA women's volleyball in my entire life. I do not even have the network (ESPNU) it airs on.
