Anybody know anything about this recruit? Undersized, but is she a solid passer/defender? Realistically we don't even know if Texas is going to seriously recruit this player. |

She is absolutely killing it in 17 open. Outshines a lot of solid 2023 pins she’s played against. Very good defender and a solid passer most of the time. |

https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc8dYq1Ld2j Since this is my neck of the woods, what I can tell you: 1. Setter 2. Class of 2022 3. Lake Travis high school - upper tier high school volleyball 4. Roots volleyball club, which was renamed from Texas Eclipse about 5 years ago - middle tier club volleyball
Because of the timing of it, being a 2022 grad and announced now, I'm assuming walk-on.

Her Roots team just placed third in a national tournament last weekend. It was mentioned in one of Tawa's articles linked on this board. |

I'd assume Texas has a ton of interest in Ayden Names. Absolute stud on TAV 16s who has already made herself known as a top recruit in the class. |
