yes Erik Sullivan follows her and likes some of her post she is ranked #8 for the class of 2025 I'm ready to just set up a UT sports academy on the islands. Doesn't have to be just volleyball. Try to cover the entire South Pacific. Any Tongans or Samoans excited about an opportunity to play college football, come on down! But Hawaii has been very very good to us in volleyball, for sure. I'd love to schedule some kind of home and home with them. Maybe even fly out there to attend the match. It sounds like such a special venue, and reading the Hawaii threads on here makes me appreciate how much passion they have for the sport at all levels. |

I still stand by my suggestion to set up some kind of semi permanent UT presence in the South Pacific. That's not actually feasible except in my fever dreams, but that's okay. |

Could one of you zoG sleuths figure out what Macaria Spears is up to over the next couple days… if she ends up at the Texas/Minnesota match, I’d take that as a good sign.

Since high school classes have started, and her team has practices during the week prior to their upcoming matches this weekend, I doubt she'll be in attendance on Wednesday night; same for any other non-local recruits. But, in the odd chance she does make it in, I'd say she made quite the effort coming down from Dallas. |
