Please. What’s scary about it? It’s all good. she quit high school volleyball this year Yeah, that coach was a jerk and didn’t seem to take her concussion seriously. I’m glad she quit.

Are we projecting Jordyn Byrd to play on the left pin? Seems like everyone else is set to play at one position, but she is the one who could play multiple positions across the net.

That's why I posted the statement. I think it's reasonable to have some concern after she quit high school ball due to concussion concerns. Of course having said this now, there will likely be an announcement in the next few minutes. 🕯 🕯 it’s all good I’m sure 🕯 🕯 The reverse psychology worked. Didn't take but about 10 minutes to draw out the announcement.

I would love for Ella Swindle to grab ahold of the staring setter spot in the Spring (for the 2023 season); but, I don't think Jerritt will wait beyond the winter break to secure a setter from the transfer portal who will enroll in the Spring. I just don't think it makes sense to wait until the summer to bring in a second scholarship setter. Not sure if that transfer will be good enough to beat out Swindle, but she will have more collegiate experience, IMO.

She's the 2023 front-row player I'm most excited about it as I think she has the best chance to contribute/start as a true freshman. She's giving up her senior season of high school basketball to enroll at Texas in January. You can't teach 6'4 with great hops. She's not coming early to redshirt next Fall, that's for sure.

You wouldn't think she would do that, but that is exactly what Brionne Butler did (enrolled early and redshirted).

But, Brionne didn't give up playing a second team sport like basketball (although she did run track). Plus, earning starting job as a freshman MB is a lot tougher than at OH, IMO.
