Everyone's first choice recruit is going to come down to Glass and 6'2 Lefty setter, Campbell Flynn. I believe they are both lefties.

It's not a bad guess, but Cook has some scholarship pipeline issues, no? Don't hold me to it, but I recall that 2024 is a problem for him already, in terms of having too many good players for 12 spots.

http://instagr.am/p/Cr8qGpWOoKO I know I’m probably reading into this but do we know if the coaches have shown interest in Charlotte Glass? She’s posted this pic with Auburn Tomkinson and Reese Emerick who are Texas recruits… I mean JE is following her. Plus she’s following JE and Texas VB. So I’d say there’s definitely interest on both parts

NE has 5 Juniors for 2023, so they will have 5 scholarships open up for 2025. There are currently no seniors on the Nebraska 2023 team and all 12 scholarships are being used. But with no one graduating, and more incoming freshman for 2024, it means that the '24s will be all walk-ons (very unlikely) or that someone(s) currently on scholarship will get pushed to walk-on status. I suspect that at least some of the '24 walk-ons will have been promised scholarships starting in 25, when they open up. So there really is less than 5 to work with in 2025.

Likely true, but they should have at least 3 scholarships available for the 2025 recruiting class, possibly 4.

At least two scholarship players (possibly a third) will be leaving the team before the fall 2024 season. Two of the 2024's (Ames and Pierce) will start on scholarship. Nebraska plans on offering four for 2025. If they land three, they might sit on one, but it depends on who commits for the 2025 class. From talking to their SA's club coaches, it seems Nebraska's top setter and opp, and one of their two top OH prospects, are for the most part locked up and plan to commit this summer.

Little Kubik seems to be the most likely to be buried on the depth chart. Batenhorst has a battle on her hands with Murray. If she plays sparingly as a junior, it’s not a stretch to imagine she’d want to go somewhere she can start as a senior. Orr could get beat out by Reilly and look to move on.
There’s enough in flux that roster changes are likely but there’s contingencies in place to make the numbers work if everyone stays. Fall 2024 is the only problem semester. 3 of the 2021s came in the spring so their scholarships would free up after semester.

It will be interesting to see what position the 4th player they offer would be if they decide to use it for a 2025 player.
