I don't think that replacement is going to be Rubin or Kahahawai. It's a good thing we got Malual then because I really think Middleton going elsewhere was a big time hit. I’m actually not to torn up about Middleton I hope we get Rubin.

Rubin seems like that 6 rotation outside we could really use more of! And who knows, Eggleston might end up staying for 2022 since that was the original plan (if she would have graduated in 2019 instead of early).

I'm actually kind of getting worried but also like we're still so stacked. We were just so used to getting the Butlers and the Suns of the recruiting world. Singletary might not have AS high of a ceiling as Butler (how many truly do?) but she is going to be one of if not the top middle in her class. Halter is a dang good back row player (probably top 3 in the class), and we are in the running for some pretty big names in 2023 as well!

I'm hoping we land an 6 rot OH because we need one after Eggleston. We have Parra and Madison however.

Singletary has a ways to go but I agree with her probably being the top middle based on potential.

What liberos, in your opinion, would be above her? From what I've seen, I think Ava Underwood, Gala Trubint, Sarah Morton, and Emma Farrell are a bit better. To be honest, there isn't that much separation in this class between the great liberos.

Raw athleticism? perhaps, but Booth is pretty mobile for her height and Allick is really quick and strong. I'd also like to throw another name out there that doesn't get much attention on this board- Kate Prior....she's very good.

She is listed as an opposite but for her club team she currently plays for she plays 6 rotations and is the go to player. Her serve is also very unique. It's a jump float serve but the amount of power she puts in it you would think it's a jump serve. I think when she gets to Texas she might play opposite the first year that's if Fields is playing 6 rotations but if Feilds stays at opposite then Malual will be the other OH.

Sorry, why would she move to opposite?

Curious to see your reasoning behind this cuz I think that Halter was ranked higher than a couple of these girls in the recent prep volleyball rankings.

From my perspective, Halter is a firecracker but her technique isn't as strong as others in the class (such as Trubint). She has great touch and athleticism and if she can refine those qualities might end up as the best defender in the class. Huge potential but raw.
