I really don't think Texas is going to target anyone else. I'm sure they are expecting our current juniors to return. If that's the case then priority would be the 2022 class. |

I'm sure they are expecting our current juniors to return. If that's the case then priority would be the 2022 class. You have to think of Malual as our 2021 class. With Parra and Malual, we should be full on scholarships in 2021. |

Based on players not losing a season of eligibility for 2020-21, our roster for Fall 2021 will consist of up to 6 freshmen:
- Reilly Heinrich
- Naomi Cabello
- Nalani Iosia
- Madison Williams
- Melanie Parra
- A. Malual
So, I don't see us adding any players from the high school senior graduating class of 2021. If there is any attrition, openings would most likely be filled by college transfers or international players.

The way early volleyball recruiting is going these days, the majority of 2022 recruits are already verbally committed, or have their list of finalists. By the time any attrition would occur creating scholarship openings, the chances of attracting a top 2022 kid is low, IMO (unless you get them to decommit due to an unexpected opening).

She could have played this fall but they wanted her to rehab with the Texas staff since she didn't get the opportunity to do so in the summer. Basically they wanted her better than she was before and she was not quite there yet. |

Plus if they are here in addition to Madison, we should have plenty of hitters. |

If Madi is healthy enough to play in the Spring, and Maula and/or Parra join the team in January, then we don't need another pin hitter on the roster for Spring 2021. What we do need is a backup setter; so, hopefully a completely healthy Cabello can fill that role.
Regardless, I don't think we'll have an open 'ship for a transfer in January.

Raw athleticism? perhaps, but Booth is pretty mobile for her height and Allick is really quick and strong. I'd also like to throw another name out there that doesn't get much attention on this board- Kate Prior....she's very good. Isn’t Carter Booth ‘21? Shes a 22 |
